Zoom Question Re Muting Jaws
Hello, everyone.
I’m in the process of learning how to use Zoom with Jaws, and have a question that may seem elementary to some.

Yes, no rhyme or reason to this and when it does occur it is out of the blue with no warning.

Re: Chrome commands question using Windows 10 and JAWS 2020
You can go to chrome settings, advanced, downloads, and activate that toggle that says "ask where to save each download" or something, if you want a prompt.
Ctrl-j will also take you to your downloads

Re: What navigation key should I use for the any link key
The tab key isn’t limited to links. It also takes you through some form controls. The Inee Linkee is very easy and responsive, especially if you set it up the way I have it where I don’t even have

Well, I wouldn’t. There are a few levels of uAC; I wouldn’t just say yes to whatever it asks, it’s good that it lets you know what programmes are attempting to do admin tasks and I’m certainly

Patrick,
My experience with Chrome is that when I click on a download link, the file is downloaded without any confirmation. The way to find out if it's arrived in your system is to press shift-F6.

You don’t mention the n key for skipping links, visited or not.

I am an old Window-Eyes user, so I dumped the List hot key, which was l and made it the any link key.
I seldom if ever want to jump to the next list…
Its really up to your own preference.

Ditto. I had thought that my two sound card setup created the interference and warbled speech but it now seems to have another cause. Closing and reopening JAWS does the trick.

Hi Luke,
Press, Insert + F2, to open the Jaws manager and navigate to, Navigate Quick Keys, and press enter. In here is where you can either add or change your key assignments.
Take care.

No, I wasn’t. But starting Narrator works well, because, once I have answered Yes to the UAC prompt, I can just toggle Narrator off again with CONTROL plus WINDOWS key, ENTER.

Thanks for the responses.
