I need more information to help uou. I need your ISP name, router model ETC. Then we can work. However this is getting way beyond the JAWS topics. Can I write you privately?

For this to work, you need public IP address, open ports and so on. It is not that easy.

Re: unload and reload Jaws?
I just set up the shortcut and if JAWS freezes up, I close it then open it again. That usually fixes the problem and can be done pretty much wherever you are on the screen.

Microsoft did package an antivirus programme with Dos for a short time. It was called mSAV. It consistently was low-rated and I suppose MS just gave up for a while in favour of third-party software

Wait, where it wants the server name? What steps are you exactly taking? I’m utterly confused. By the server name you shall type your IP-Address.
