Yes, I got the same answer turn off fast start up. That made no difference and in fact made things worse. I turned it back on

Yes, typing Alt+d in File Explorer, followed by shell:startup will place you in the relevant directory. Try pasting the JAWS shortcut in there.

Hi Joe!
Well, I have turned off “fast startup” but that has not fixed it. This was suggested by FS.
Thanks,
Richard

Thanks Dan, I am having to do the hot key thing presently too until I resolve this issue. I am glad to hear, though, that it is not just me!

Hi Sieghard!
Yes, I looked there and it says that the application file for JAWS is “on.” Is there anywhere else that I should look?
Thanks,
Richard

Well, I am not on any sort of a corporate network, but I wonder about your below solution. Maybe something like it might work for me! You say that the solution was to copy the JAWS

Brian, is uBlock Origin Plus a replacement for uBlock Origin Extra, or
are they the same? I'm wondering if I should remove uBO Extra for a more
up to date extension.

Re: keystroke to get to Office Quick Access Toolbar?
Hi,
Another quick way to get to the Sort submenu is to hit your applications key, and then the letter O. You can then up/down arrow to A to Z, Z to A, etc, and hit enter on the way you want to sort.

Re: Seeking feedback on 40 and 80 cell displays
I've used an 80-cell display in a work environment, and I can definitely recommend it. More cells are better (within a reasonable limit, of course).

Thank you! The alt, then up arrow did the trick. Alt 3 also went directly to the button I need, but I'll keep in mind that it might be finicky. Love this list.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm leaning towards 80 cells as well. a whole line really is appealing.
