Anti-virus is all you need at startup.
Did you ever install the registry hack that makes XP think it's a point of sale (POS) machine?
Microsoft continued with those updates to XP until at least

You can use the winPE for win 7 to install XP.
You could use the win 10 version too if you like.Once you get it all installed and the computer will reboot, you will have to bring up Narrator to finish

Friend had this problem with his vista and I am sure it was virus related.
After reinstalling the operating system, the fan did not run so hard.

“At this point” is an understatement. Support for Windows XP went on quite long, but it ended on April 8, 2014 which means her system would have received no security updates for five and a half

Outlook 2003 Using a Lot Of CPU Power
Hi, it's Annabelle.
Has anybody had this happen to them? I know this may be off topic, but this strange thing just started happening, where Outlook 2003 seems to think my CPU power is maxed out at 50%

The Kaperski one should just run.
The MS one makes an ISO and I extracted the ISO contents with 7Zip and I'm trying to figure how to incorporate that into WinPE.

Hi,
Since I offered the WinPE disks, one of the great things about running WinPE is that you can scan your hard drive without your operating system running.
Many viruses hide when you boot up and that
