Haha..I wouldn’t have said anything, except seeing “carrot” there really cracked me up. I use a braille display more than speech nowadays so these things just jump out at me more.

The OpenBook setting doesn't really maintain the format despite what it says. If I needed something exact, I would go with a commercial program like Abbyy fine reader or Prismo. Or even the native

Also, mine work better if I keep the M3U file in the same folder as the music and remove the part of the path of each song up to the folder where the

Brian, excellent point. It should be noted however on a broad aspect of things that a computer tech it’s like a doctor. Sometimes the patient comes but they don’t know what the problem is. So

IN Openbook, there is an exact view setting that tries to maintain the original format.
So depending on if you want it to maintain columns or not, there is another setting for that.

when pressing numpad 6, make sure the numpad is set to the reading

in K1000, numpad 6 will toggle between column identification between
being enabled or disabled. toggle it to disabled. if you want, don't

Is there an m3u file?
Or is that just too old school. Windows Media used to use m3u files to run the playlist.
I just do them on my iPhone, so probably out to lunch here.

It is a little fiddly to get iTunes into Songs view as iTunes can be pretty laggy and you might have to tab to get to the sort order where you should hear albums if it in default view.

Reading a switchboard in Access
I remember tabbing through the buttons on an Access switchboard with JAWS. Today with JAWS2019 I can't move the cursor at all. Is there still a way to read a switchboard in Access???
