i take it back. the Jaws Convenient OCr only works with files. i haven't tried it on web pages. but the Jaws Convenient OCr doesn't work either on my scanner. it just says it could not detect text.

Hi, I wouldn't depend on JAWS to properly be able to control your scanner if I were you since it's not specifically made for such things. Sure the option is there but I'd wager it doesn't work nearly

No, you can use picture smart. It's just that it'll depend entirely on what you're trying to use it on. It's very hit or miss. The layered command is insert+spacebar then P then C.
