Hi Jed,
It's possibly a screen resolution issue, and I can't remember exactly where the setting is but it will be under "Display", and try lowering the resolution quite substantially.

Hi Dean,
I find the name "Flexible Web" rather ironic as the reason why I don't use it is because it is not "Flexible" enough! I did use it very extensively when it was launched, but got fed up with

I doubt that is a Jaws issue if it worked before, maybe something to do with the hardware on the two different laptops.
I, for example, use Roboform as a password manager. On all my desktops at work

Re: How do I get to the Status Bar in MS Word 2016 with JAWS 2019?
Hi Richard,
And since in Windows and Office there are always numerous ways to skin a cat, you can always just use the keyboard shortcut for Wordcount/statistics, Control+Shift+G.

are you running the setup as administrator?
have you tried re downloading the program and installing it again?
maybe the file is corrupted.

Nope, it's not the touch pad, cause i'm using an external keyboard.
Any other ideas, this just doesn't make any sense. Could it be a
repair issue?

Hi, Sharon.
1. Locate the JAWS setup package you used to install the last update to JAWS 18.
2. This may involve going to the Freedom Scientific website and downloading the latest version of JAWS
