I don't believe so, but the instructions for putting it on your desktop were offered earlier.

Is it possible to put a link to the Applications folder on the start menu? I use the All Programs menu in Windows 7 a lot to find those programs that I didn’t have on the desktop or task bar.

Thank you Sieghard, It seems a little like we are going back to the days of DOS where we needed to type in the apps that we wanted to open rather than finding it in a list or menu.
