hello, can you do a copy text between two placemarkers? within a virtual window. right now I do a ctrl+down arrow to select the text I want. some stuff is very very long to down arrow through. also

reboot, and when the items that were previously unchecked are checked
again, do you know if the order of the items matter? does

Although Windows 10 is a little different these steps will give you a good idea on what to do in Win 10.
Note: The steps below were performed running Windows 7 & JAWS versions 15 thru 18.

There are other reasons not to use Chrome, such as Google's questionable data slurping practices, but speed is definitely not, or should not be anyway, one of them.

Okay, when I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I had not realized that my Access bridge was nor running. The latest Oracle Virtual Box does seem to have an accessible GUI once AB is running.

Which version of Jaws are you on? If it is 2018 then I dopubt that makes a difference, in Jaws 2019 FS has made a change which makes it load a lot faster after you put in your pIN/Password.
