I am not sure of the format you are using, but I use the find command in JAWS, but you will have to know of a name or phrase.

you should be able to place the screen upright with ctrl+alt+uparrow.

“System Exit” is the event associated with shutdown.
“Windows logoff” is associated with signing off to log on as a different user.
