I was going to the desk top and pressing alt F4. I just wanted to see another way to shut down.

Hi Kevin ,
Not sure why its not doing it, as it’s a standard windows 10 key stroke. Just to check you are holding down the windows key whilst pressing x, is that correct? On on my PC when I do

Re: Outlook 2016 crashes when running JAWS
As a post script on this problem. I just tried launching Outlook 2016, then launching JAWS and now it’s working fine. So, the problem occurs if I have JAWS 2018 running and then launch Outlook.

Re: Are there special settings for Outlook 2010 ribbons and Jaws 2018?
Hi, Shannon. The only way to tell where you are focused is to use the current line command in JAWS which is:
JAWS key plus eight on the Number PAD for JAWS with Desktop Layout or
CAPSLOCK plus

Bill,
That sounded like a good idea, but no luck.
I did have it set to highlighted
If I just arrow down after getting to view and do nothing else I get all that junk. If I right arrow across it

Well that didn’t work.
Alt then right arrow to View press enter only says “ leaving menues”.
Pressing the Dwown after arrowing right to View gets this spoken.

It may be reading like this because you have JAWS set to read ALL instead of HIGHLIGHTED. If you want to read just the highlighted selections, press JAWS key plus the letter S until it says
