Yes. Instead of pasting it into Word, paste it into Notepad. The table will go away. It will be straight text.

Thanks, I was looking for it in the main Settings, Jaws Key+6. Apparently this only applies to specific applications because typing “focus” in the search box in the main Settings Centre does not

While in any application open Jaws quick settings with, Jaws key + V, type, focus, into the Search field, or down arrow to the, Focus loss announcement, checkbox.

Yes, it is usable from the keyboard and often the only way to get to certain information.
You turn it on by pressing Shift+PC cursor. I think earlier I said doubl epress the PC cursor

Convenient OCR was introduced in Jaws 2013.
Using the "Recognize with Jaws" option from the context menu is not what I would call "Opening the PDF". Yes, it will perform the OCR and display the result
