There is always an f4 function, doing different things depending on how it is set. In order to set the functions keys to work with JAWS, the function keys that do Lenovo things need to be turned off

Just to let you know, i'm now back on the list, and hope to be for a while.
Have now got my new computer, and although i'm getting on not too bad, i'm finding a lot of the keys very different.

unzipping many files at a time
Hi:
Does anybody know of a program that can uncompress several files at a time?
I download books from the library and learningally and I always have to unzip the files by hand.

Don’t' recall off-hand. A google search should bring up a bunch of tutorials on how to tweek FF this and that way. There's also an add-on called Speedy Tweeks or something that can do this for

That's a bunch of BS from people who don't like FS/VFO, they are actively working to get this resolved and I bet that it will be within the next 3 or 4 months.

I called Vfo and talked to a pretty nice tech.
He told me that the sound card settings for jaws is in the utilitys menu that is the place to change the sound.

I've used the Windows 10 version of Skype a few times and didn't notice any
problems with it. I was able to make calls without any issues.

I had to change the default program for the .pdf file extension in Windows. Everytime I answered yes in Adobe to make Reader the default program for PDFs it would revert back to opening them in Edge

Evry time the end user opens Adobe the settings are not saved.

in which one opens and closes their browser many many multiple

I’ve heard of this but I don’t currently use jaws so I can’t confirm it. However, I can tell you that until the latest version of Firefox NVDA was doing The same thing that you just described.
