Have done exactly what you said, but nothing under installed programs.
Even tried to type in the date it was installed, but nothing!

If you go into settings windows key+I
Tab once to the categories list
Hit the arrows keys till you find apps category and hit enter
Now tab to the programs and features listing and tab till you get

Some times the uninstall is not the same name as the software pakege name.
And the model of pc such as HP or Dell is not inportint!
What is the name of your program?

In the edit field type in add remove programs and hit enter
Tab to you get to the list of programs on your device
Arrow down to the name of the program and hit enter
Tab to remove
