Go to your sound card properties by tapping the Windows button, then typing
the word Soundcard. You should hear Change Soundcard Settings or something
like that.

I don’t know about your setup but since build 1703 the narrator shortcut has been ctrl+windndows+enter
Older versions of windows it has been windows+enter

If JAWS isn’t installed on the remote system then you can’t access it with JAWS remote desktop.

But a sighted person wouldn’t have JAWS installed, would they? I think the question is remoting into a sighted person’s own computer, where they don’t use JAWS.
