Yes, I want to use the standard ribbons, mostly because I've got the keystrokes down for certain functions. For example, I often use the alt+h, x, n keystrokes to save attachments within Outlook.

Appreciate you sharing this with us. BTW am I correct in that you want to
have the standard ribbons working, an *not* the JAWS Virtual Ribbon?
In my case, I never enabled the JAWS Virtual

New email count in Outlook 2010
Hi Everyone,
I have several folders under my inbox that I filter incoming emails to. One
of these folders is older and when I down arrow to the folder JAWS tells me
how many new emails is inside.

Rather than a window message, use the FSApi.dll and the JFWStopSpeech
function. If you look around the FS website you should be able to
find at least a header for the jaws API, possibly an import

JAWS 13 works very well (in fact better than JAWS 12) with Office 2007
applications. Suggest you do a repair on JAWS 13.

My virtual ribbon is unchecked. Truth is, I've tried it both ways and the ribbon behavior doesn't change. I've even tried making the changes in the application settings as well as

Settings Center. Ctrl+Shift+d for the default configuration file. Type
"virtual ribbon" in the search field and make sure that the item is
unchecked.

the default CPanel theme (I believe it's called x3). With that theme, no
