Re: Question about J 18.0
Mike,
That's what I'm running. It works fine. Actually, I just downloaded the latest JAWS 18 update, and it also works fine for me.

Re: Chrome questions
I use it 90% of the time problem free, but I am in a teaching environment where I need to know all of the browsers in order to teach them. It works pretty much the same as FF or IE IMO, ha, ha.

Re: Question about J 18.0
You can definitely install it, I still use Windows 7 on 5 desktop PC's at my retail store and it works just fine.
Also, if you do want to upgrade to Windows 10 you'd be ready for it, I would

Re: JAWS packaging
That’s a good question.
I do know a blind fellow learned braille in his late 30’s or 40’s, later taught himself grade II from a brochure on learning grade II that was thrown in the trash.

If I had never used a computer before and had no sighted assistance, I’m not sure if I’d know what to do with the package I received.
Seems like I remember a note in Braille on an older cd

I certainly wouldn't expect cassette tapes any more these days and apart from that installing Jaws is so easy that I really don't see the need for a tutorial. Stick the dVD in the drive and it will
