if you have no speech when your pc starts try windows key u and start nerator and use that speech until jaws works.
if you can you might want to make sure the key works on your pc I dont think it was

You actually have both a touch pad and a touchsgick. I disabled both.
However it required someone going into the BIOS to do this.

alert. For me, it works. I have the current JAWS 13 build.

I agree that the "new and improved" Quick Settings dialog is one step
further away from common-sense user interfaces. Not sure yet I can comment
on how well or not it works to make changes.

I set jaws to automatically read messages, it doesn't?
