Laura, Unplug your scanner, and then plug it in, with Openbook not running. Then launch Openbook. Likely OB has just lost the USB connection to your scanner. ...or is your scanner turned on?

After you press Control+P for Print, why not just use the shortcut key for "Pages" which is Alt+G, then tab once, specify your page or page range and you are done. Regards, Sieghard
