Did you check to see if the correct scanner is selected? I can’t quite recall where to go for this, either “Advanced > Devices, or Launch > devices?

It's usable, in a lot of ways I would say it's not as good as vs2015
was at least when using it with jaws. For instance, in vs2017 the edit
fields in the project wizard were voiced as edit fields

Well. I am not Caroline but, F7 works when compiling a message such as this one. If I want to check for errors before sending this message, I just hit F7. Or, am I misunderstanding what you are

I have not done this yet, but I'm sure they are saying that once you are in the spell check dialog, alt-f7 focuses Jaws on the misspelled word and opens the application menu so you can pick
