I find this an interesting observation as on my Windows 10 laptop and all my Windows 7 desktops at my business the Windows Key + number is 100% reliable.

For whatever it is worth, I run the same set of applications (Windows 10 Creators Update, Word 2016 via Office 365 download and Jaws 18 latest built) and I just tried this and had no issues.

You have to go to c:\programs\Delete the Thunderbird folder. Do this in ProgramsX86 also. Then u have to go to Folder options for windows. Then click the advanced tab then deselect hide protected

It is simply the next Windows 10 update. You won’t have a choice but to upgrade sooner or later so you might as well do it. Just make sure you have the latest Jaws 16 update installed first.

It appears that the alternate JAWS command to open the Task Tray, WINDOWS KEY+B, will work anywhere within Windows or, within a program which has focus.

Tony, if you have desktop shortcuts for the programs you want to use,
and shortcuts assigned to them, for example, cygwin is control+alt+c,
pressing the shortcut will switch you to that program,

last time I work on there web pages. However, I have tried mailerlite
and it worked, at least for the plane text mail.
