I realize AVG does not work with JAWS 18.
Does the latest versions of AVG still work with JAWS 16 or 17 with Windows

Sounds like you are using Windows 10, here is how I would do it:
Press Windows+X, this brings up a menu where the first item is "Programs and Features", just press enter to get into it.

and hit enter

Removing JAWS 16 from a windows 10 computer
When I go to apps, to JAWS 16, I find "settings, third party something, and utilities. In none of these do I find a way to remove JAWS 16. How do I make it go away???
