Maria, which command to you give to get to the voice
choices? I've done it in the past, but can't remember where
it is and not getting there tonight, thanks.

Dennis,
As nice as the new voices are, each time new ones appear I give a listen but after using eloquence for so many years, hard to give it up

Paul,
I would not presume that MS-Edge is accessible in its entirety via JAWS until VFO states that it is and under what releases.
It was just a fluke this morning that I brought

I still prefer RSD Emily, but that has significant problems under jaws
18, particularly involving left quote (U+201c), right quote (U+201d)
and apostrophe (U+2019 IIRC) characters.

Old vocalizer voices versus new vocalizer voices
Hi,
I know there’s a lot of subjectivity in voice preferences, but I’m curious if any can describe general aspects of how the new Vocalizer voices are different from the ones previously

Hi Brian,
You said you were using MS edge, is this now accessible with Jaws? I’m using Jaws 16 and it still doesn’t seem to work here.

Re: V 18 disappointment
I have played with the audio ducking a bit, but what I don't
like is it makes hearing any system sound, i.e. dialogue
boxes that pop up, email download sounds, etc. difficult to
hear if JAWS is

Re: New Vocalizer voices for JAWS 18
They are applications, just download the same as the high quality voices, then press enter on the downloaded file and it will come up with the install wizard.

Re: V 18 disappointment
it didn't fix the problems i was having in 17. so i am back to 16. a few bells and whistles in 18 but for sure doesn't rate a full upgrade. the audio ducking only applies to windows 8 and above. also
