There are several ways to access Usenet, some of which are blind accessible. What you need is a news catcher program and a feed. Outlook Express will handle newsgroups from UseNet with no difficulty

My non-solution is to not close the message. Then it's still there, but doesn't take focus from where you left it.

funny you mentioned this. I recently heard that it was renamed to something like use core .net or some variation like that. maybe you can google it or look it up at microsoft's site.

the problem with this is, if your windows update is set to automatic and recommended updates are checked, the get windows 10 nag will be reinstalled, regardless if it is hidden. Microsoft is despritly
