You don't have to uninstall XI to install DC. It's like upgrading any other software from older to newer versions. The upgrade is fairly seemless. I'm surprised JAWS hasn't been screaming at you

Hi Brian: No, you are not mistaken: JAWS does not store OCR-generated text with Adobe XI after you close the file, the recognition has to be done again the next time you open the file. Imagine that
