Thanks, John, but no luck on this computer. Yes, JAWS verbalizes "Loading," but after that I can do nothing and have to close Chrome down.

I have the same configuration and I can enter settings by:
1 press alt to get into the menu.
2 arrow up to reach settings.
3 press shift plus enter.
In several seconds you will get a message saying

Dennis,
On your first question, I experience no such delays either with IE or Chrome. If I did, it would drive me nuts. Maybe try chrome and see if you notice a difference.

I have answers for you. There is no benefit to signing into Chrome unless you want to sync all of your devices. There is no reason to sign in to use it as a browser. To import your book

Running windows 7 Pro 64 bit with Jaws 16 & 17 latest, & I can't open the
settings option using Jaws 17 either but, it does open with Jaws 16. Anyone

So if default browser is Chrome and an email newsletter has a link to select
it will open in Chrome and interview video

That window was, I believe, a Google page where you can adjust settings. You can go back to that page by going into the Chrome menu with the alt key, then arrowing up to "settings" and pressing

Try pressing jaws key plus windows key plus f4 to reboot jaws let's see if that works.
