Re: Windows 10 and All apps window
One of the big steps forward from XP to Win7 was that you could navigate the add/remove applications list by first letter. It's a shame MS forgot that lesson.

Hi Paul,
Unfortunately you can't use the first letter in the list of all apps, and I don't know of any setting. I don't know why this is the case, and have provided feedback to Microsoft on this

Hi, Paul. Often it is exactly those (personal settings) which get corrupted, and need to be changed.

I wish I were so lucky. Perhaps sometime in the future, I'll have time to
completely uninstall and reinstall JAWS. I've already tried that once and it
didn't help, but I elected to save my local

My goodness, Ann, is Microsoft still using that? I remember when that and autoexec were two of the most important files you had, and many of us knew how to modify them.

Re: Appending to the clipboard. ... there are two clipboards
That is interesting. As I said, it didn't work in Outlook, but probably
does in Word - all being part of Office 2013.

Those steps did not work in Outlook, might in Word. We're having to
replace modem and taking turns on net today, but will try those steps in
Word when off net.

I have found that the office clipboard messes up the way my braille display
shows the document. I avoid it whenever possible.

I suggest you give Freedom Scientific a call. I have had several clients
over the years who have had this same problem, and they have been able to
fix it.
