I know from a later message that you can't get the "e" step to work. I'm finding with the ribbon that you sometimes need to wait for JAWS to speak something before pressing a letter. Thus:

Now that I installed the new version my recent documents file in Word
doesn't work properly. I hit Alt F, the letter R and the recent documents
folder is there but it only has two documents there.

Hi, Carolyn. Is your Virtual Ribbon turned off? Perhaps the reason it won't take the E is because virtual ribbons are turned on, or checked under the Quick Settings menu.

I was told Alt F, I, E, but mine won't take the E. I have instructions to
go to the Trust Center, which I have done, but once there, cannot arrow
down to anything.

Since I did the Jaws download today my recent files function is not working

wanted to send an attachment, say Canasta information, I could be in the
body of an e-mail, hit Insert I, Shift tab, then
