I've confirmed that the videos I'm playing have audio by playing them in FF. No such button that JAWS detects in IE11, although I think it does find one in FF.

Never seen one, but the Surface Pro has something called a type cover--a regular keyboard, I believe. I think it might be an extra-cost accessory, however.
