The Amplifier is for the phone itself. The Amp plugs into where the handset
would be, and you run the headset that way. I've used it before, and they
work Ok.

I am surprised Plantronics never mentioned that one. Maybe there isn't a way to have a 3.5mm 4-ring plug for the phone end. I don't care at all about the play and fastforward buttons. I wonder why one
