Question? Why would one by a laptop computer, then use a desktop keyboard? Why not just get a desktop from the beginning? I'm not challenging doing that, just wanting to know what is the advantage.

Hi, Dennis, I am also a Jaws16 laptop home user with Window7 ,but I use the desktop keyboard because the laptop keyboard is small,my desk is tall, and my fingers are too big for the laptop

Actually I was not aware of that one. <Chagrin>.
Still not as nice as a real context menu key. Probably not even as
nice as my remapped print screen since it requires hitting two keys.

See if the JAWS virtual window helps by pressing JAWS key+alt+w. Assuming it does, you'll be able to navigate with the arrow keys and, better still, copy the entire text to paste into another

The one thing I find annoying with my HP laptop is that it does not
have the context menu key. I have used a utility to remap the print
screen key to perform that function but it is certainly not
