Warming up Jaws
Hello Listers,
My machine seems to stutter and jerk until it gets warmed up, especially if I do things too fast. Then after a few actions it performs normally. Does anyone have any suggestions

Re: Jaws stops talking
Hi Stewart,
When JAWS goes silent, have you tried just waiting for 20-30 seconds? I suspect JAWS is doing the new feature of automatically doing a reboot of JAWS when a process delay is encountered.

Yes have had the problem too and have reported it to FS and so far doesn't
seem like anything has been done to address the problem or issue.
I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Jaws 16 latest

Jaws stops talking
Hi folks:
I'm having a problem with Jaws 16. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. While I'm on the computer doing certain things like listening to a movie on Netflix or checking mail, Jaws goes silent.

Re: Alt key stops working
I’ve actually had this happen on a couple of dell laptops, also running windows seven and JAWS 16. The only thing that works is a restart.

When you experience the problem, try maximizing the window if it is not.

Yep. I've seen this. I usually unload/reload JAWS to solve the problem.

Re: Alt key stops working
This happens to me on a PC. I think it is a Jaws problem. Usually unloading Jaws and restarting Jaws fixes it but at times it requires re booting the PC to fix it. Tom

bookmarks in Mozilla
Hi,
I have to use Mozilla for my bank and grocery store. I have tried to create
bookmarks. I can't retrieve the bookmarks. Has anyone had any success with
using bookmarks?
Thanks.

Hello Annabelle,
Could you either click on the links, or have a sighted friend identify them, and then use graphic labeler?
Cheers Kevin.

could just go to the Bookmarks button if Mozilla is your home page. Ctrl-F

Are you using control plus shift plus b to show all bookmarks? Or are you looking at alt plus b for bookmarks in general?

Avira used to be accessible, but it no longer is. The problem is that it
now runs from the system tray, and JAWS seems to be unable to access its
user interface.
As for Norton, it depends a lot on
