Hi Stewart, When JAWS goes silent, have you tried just waiting for 20-30 seconds? I suspect JAWS is doing the new feature of automatically doing a reboot of JAWS when a process delay is encountered.

Yes have had the problem too and have reported it to FS and so far doesn't seem like anything has been done to address the problem or issue. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled Jaws 16 latest

This happens to me on a PC. I think it is a Jaws problem. Usually unloading Jaws and restarting Jaws fixes it but at times it requires re booting the PC to fix it. Tom
