There is a list of available keystrokes contained within Lync itself,
under help I think. Those are the only key commands I know of. Even
using the key commands, Lync isn't the friendliest application

Why not open the email and shift plus tab to jump to the attachments? You'll come across message one of two then arrow to the right and hit enter to open or application key to select an action.
