Hi.
I tried the BrailleToggle8PixelsPerSpace, and no matter how many times I
pressed the key that I assigned, the white space did not shrink.
I'll give it another try however.

startup. I read in a Microsoft article that the computer is actually trying
to connect to the internet since this latest MSE

yes... you can disable it from starting up in either msconfig or if you use ccleaner you can disable it in the start up list. then just enter on your icon on the desktop to start it.

Remembering to disable and enable real-time protection in MSE is a hassle, so as an alternative, is there any way to prevent MSE from starting up automatically at boot up and instead launching it

Yes, I'm having the same issue on my XP system running JAWS 9. Apparently, from what somebody on another list discovered, a bad update to Microsoft Security Essentials may be caussing the slow

The thing about the BrailleSetUnlimitedPixelsPerSpace script is that it's one-way. You push the key and it sets it to unlimited (actually 999) pixels per space, but the only way to turn that

Mine works properly for this specific example however, I am noticing some
other odd wad behavior from JAWS.

I don't know how to read those update messages either. I think they
are pop up balloons sighted users click on before they disappear. I
think you can force updates in the tools menu under internet
