you can also try u for the next unvisited, and v for the next visited link in an e-mail, use shift with the quick navigation letters to go back respectively.

When I start up my PC, I hear Jaws read "update office is now available",
but I can't find it. It's not in the system tray.

Insert+f7. Arrow through the list and hit enter on the link you want. You can also use alt+m to simply move to that link without activating it.

I have a couple guesses as to why Jaws doesn't see the cursor movements fast enough. They could be dead wrong of course...
Linux cursors generally don't blink. But Jaws uses cursor blink

I think the easiest way to get the URL of a link is to right click the link with the Star Key on your numeric keypad. Then choose Copy Shortcut from the context Menu. You can then paste the URL into

Cirena, when you're on the page, press insert+f1. a virtual window will open
with info about the page. the address of the current page is about the third
or fourth from the top. try it. hth
