the path has to be complete. documents, for example, is (maybe) c:\libraries\documents\folder\file. downloads c:\users\computer name\downloads.

Often insert+tab will read the current line, even if arrowing doesn't do it. Or just type in the location you want. e:\something.something will get it there.

It should be in c:\users\computer name\downloads. If your computer is named Judy, it would be in c:\users\judy\downloads. One way to find a file with windows 7 is 1. Press windows key+e

Instead of hitting enter on the download link, use the applications menu and arrow down to 'save target as'. There you can specify the file name and the location to save to.
