all I can suggest is to uninstall it via control panel, add/remove programs
or programs and features, and select the references to Flash, and then run
the uninstaller utility available from Adobe,

Do this:
AS it instructs: Click on OK to terminate the program
Then try it again.

Because JAWS interprets the executable MSOE.DLL as Outlook Express. It does
the same on my system, and I have Windows Mail. Look at the help/about
dialog to get the actual program name.

I have tried the F1 key but it brings up the full windows 8 help files but
if I remember correctly, there was a help menu specifically setup for
outlook in prior versions of office.

The accessibility of windows live mail on windows 8 is the same as it is on windows 7. It's not ideal, but it's quite usable. It supports both pop3 and imap, and you can use a gmail
