These directions sound more like Outlook Express than Outlook. They are sure

If memory serves, if you assign a keystroke and it's already used, it will
nag and tell you.

From what I've been reading, Avast is doing a better job. I have actually found things with Avast, that MSE has failed to detect.

for what it's worth, I've heard MS Security Essentials is better than Avast.
