I know this doesn't help, but in character-by-character movement, I do hear
the letter properly pronounced. I wonder if you need to change your
punctuation level, or perhaps enable something

Hi. Using JAWS 14 and Windows 7, I find that JAWS won’t read letters with
accents and other symbols. For example, it won’t tell me that the last
character of this word is e acute:

When I click on manage rules and alerts, I land on the new rule button and
then I tab until I hear the move down button, press spacebar and all of my
rules appear and hit delete on the one I am

1. Select and copy the text of one of the labels you wish to change.
2. Ensure focus stays on the application.
3. Open the JAWS dictionary with JAWS key+d and press enter.
4. Press JAWS key+numpad

To add to my previous reply, I just checked, and F6 will toggle you between
the results window and the search dialog. So you could do a search, toggle
with F6 to look at the results, then
