Thanks Lisa I just tried control R to see if it would let me use a different voice but no luck. I'll keep trying. Wonder if there is a way to convert Kindle books to Word documents? Lynda

The Kindle to computer app and Jaws 11
Hi
I am using Jaws 11 on a 32 bit Toshiba laptop and today downloaded an app that should allow me to read Kindle books on my computer. However, unfortunately Jaws refuses to say anything but "blank"

Re: IE10 & Jaws 14
hello;
if you have a number of IE10 pages opened,
you could,
ctrl+t=new tab,
now arrow to the site address and press enter.
or, you could try, alt+left arrow to go back a page.
hope this helps.

Re: IE10 & Jaws 14
I tried control tab and that did not work. I did do alt N, which someone
suggested on here, but I don't know how to get back to my original page. I
am not blaming Jaws, it's more my ignorance of Jaws

Here is a idea, since the email below just suggested using the Microsoft
keyboard command for tabs why don't you go and look up keyboard commands for
ie 10 then you can not blame jaws

Re: IE10 & Jaws 14
Ctrl-Tab also works, rather like Alt-Tab for switching between apps.

Thanks Asrian.
When I press the insert plus spacebar, I hear a double click (the clicks are of lower then higher pitch). After that, neither s nor any other key does anything. I am back to whatever

Another thing to try is going into the J13 ENU folder & deleting any entry
that is named after the program. i.e.,IRTI's Eclipse Pro Writer and
Hovercam.JCF
Hope this helps.
