Yes, that was what I first thought of, but it doesn't seem to work, or at least if it does, Jaws isn't speaking the item selected, and it's not appearing on my Braille display either.

I can help you with one of these questions. If you encounter a dropdown in a cell, you can use Alt plus down arrow to open it. At least that is what I used to do when using Excel 2007. That was

Maybe it is my system but only the space and application keys are spoken concerning the bottom row of keys..
I wish to get use to doing the mouse over combination.

insert+1 (on the numbers row) toggles keyboard help on and off. after turning keyboard help on, press any key or combination and jaws will tell you what it does.

I have heard that Quicken built in scripts that is supposed to make it

I don’t know if you have used Siri with an iPhone, but it is Windows 10’s equivalent. You can ask it questions and the like. I haven’t set it up and it isn’t bothering anybody.
