Re: What gives with disabled keystrokes
Edward, I doubt it has anything to do with Windows 7. I've had nothing disappear with either Jaws 11 or 12 under Windows 7 X64.

Edward:
Have you tried unloading and relaunching JAWS?
If you did that and nothing changed, try restarting Windows.

Ed,
I'm not sure why Insert+F10 is not working for you. I am using JFW 12.0.1169 on my Windows 7 Home Premium system, and this command brings up the Window List Dialog with a Running Applications

What gives with disabled keystrokes
OK.
I just wrote about the disappearance of the Jaws Task Manager, formerly enabled with Jaws key (Insert) plus F-10.
Now, the keystroke for starting the Jaws dictionary has disappeared.

Jaws Task Manager
All:
With JAWS 12 and the Jaws task manager, has anyone noticed that it has gone missing?
Insert plus F-10, which is the proper command (verified in keyboard help) -- no longer brings up the JAWS

I haven't had any trouble with either item unless the link used a graphic named the proper name of the link, that and the trouble I sent in the cure for are the only problems I have had or herd

The other reason I want to get away from qwerty based solutions for things like Control Keys, is I want to be able to use the built-in bluetooth wireless from across the room with the Focus 40

Wonder if JAWS key-1 would help here, if you don't mind a bit of
fumbling with the extra keys. Please bear in mind this is a suggestion
from one who has absolutely no experience with any embosser

basic questions again
I'm back with a dirt simple question here again, and this must be documented somewhere I realize. I have looked through what I have though, and I see no answer. From a braille keyboard with JAWS 11,

Re: error message
Does the error have a specific number or anything to identify it? Maybe search Microsoft's site for that particular error/problem.
