Hi, Stan.

1. Open Chrome.

2. Go to Settings with ALT plus F, followed by S.

3. Find AutoFill, and open that category.

4. Open the Passwords link.

5. In the search box on that page, search for the website you want to UnSave.

6. The website and password will be shown below, with an option to delete the entire record of the website, username, and password.

Hi, Mike. I actually do it a bit differently. I make shortcuts for the links
I know I will visit frequently. They are shortcuts, just like the regular
shortcuts you would put on the desktop for apps or programs.

Judy's last point is something I've always done with websites I anticipate
to visit often.
I collect links to pages or sections I expect to visit frequently so I can
return there quickly.
Having those urls in a .htm file has saved me much grief and time.
I cannot speak of the Chase site; but this approach has proved valuable
for some sites people have suggested could not be used.
Consider this approach.

Hi Kevin,

Try the following:

1.  Find a PDF file on your computer, but don't open it just have it highlighted.

2.  Press alt+enter for properties.

3.  Now shift+tab to the Change button and press it.  You will be  asked what program you want to use to open PDF files.  Tab and there will be a list
of proposed programs.

4.  Once you are on your preferred program, select it and you should be good to go.

Stay safe and take care.  Mike.

Scott, I use their website for the past few years for my credit card and I have no trouble. I use Windows 10, jaws 2019 and google chrome as a browser. I do put permanent bookmarks in a few places to get right to the list of transactions but it works well. Don’t think you will have trouble. Good luck. Judy & Libby

Hi:

Does anyone have experience with the accessibility of www.chase.com using the latest build of JAWS 2022? The landing page looks fine. Unfortunately, in my experience, you never know how accessible a banking site really is until you are a customer and are actually trying to use all of the services offered such as checking and savings accounts, bill pay, credit card accounts, Etc.

Thanks for any advice on this before I decide to move my banking relationship to Chase.

Best:

Scott

Bill covered answering Mike's question, and thanks for that, but Robin's addition indirectly brings up that if you use WinKey + Number and an instance of that app is already open, it will throw focus to the open app, not start another instance.  If you want another instance of the app, say another Notepad window to open for a different file, that's when you must use the WinKey + Shift + Number shortcut.

There are certain apps, mostly those that do not feature tabs for having multiple things open, where I have frequent need to have more than one instance open.  Notepad just so happens to probably be the one where that's most frequently the case.

Van Lant, Robin

Even in Windows 10, I’m finding the Taskbar icons are faster at opening than launching from the desktop shortcut.   I don’t  typically remember to use the Windows key number combo, but I’ll use Windows T, then arrow to what I want. I have the icons in order of what I open more frequently.  I also like that it will tell me if the program is already running, which can be nice if I have a lot open.  I think the reason I started using taskbar was that it was really straightforward to search for an a app in the start menu, then do a context menu to add to task bar. My recollection is that it took more steps to add to the desktop, ten go create a shortcut, so I tried the task bar. Now, I tend to open applications from  the task bar and leave my desktop for network folder shortcuts and  shortcuts to specific web applications I use here at work.

Hi Loy,

Especially with Windows 11, pinning shortcuts to the Taskbar helps a lot.  When I have Dropbox running shortcut keystrokes assigned to the desktop shortcuts take forever to respond, if they respond at all.  But, with my most used shortcuts pinned to the Taskbar I get immediate response when Dropbox is running.

For regular use when Dropbox isn't running the Taskbar shortcuts still respond quicker than keystrokes assigned to the desktop shortcuts.

The biggest advantage for your most frequently used apps is the ability to fire them up with the WinKey + Number shortcut to open the app pinned to that numbered position (starting with 1 and ending with 0, for a total of 10 positions).  You can also use WinKey + Shift + Number to open a second (or third, . . .) instance of the app pinned to that numbered position.

You might have to go to settings center with insert six on the numbers row, then hit insert control d for default for it to come up, because it would apply to all programs.

I've been using Chase for quite a long time.  For the last 10 years or so, I've been using NVDA; but before that I used JAWS.  It is very accessible for what I need to do.  I have two credit cards to maintain there.

Hi there. I would say that Outlook works reasonably well with JAWS
when using it on the web. You will need to use it with the virtual PC
cursor turned off for most of the time. this allows you to have a
similar experience to the one you have when using the desktop version.
I have found that navigating, reading and sending mail is pretty
straight forward. The calendar is a bit clunky, but you can do it. I'm
still working through some of the best practices for handling the
Calendar.

While I have not used Chase with Jaws, I do use the Chase app on my iPhone. I have credit cards with Chase, and I hav e reviewed balances and transactions, and have also made payments with no difficulty. The Chase app appears to be totally accessible under the IOS platform. Be well and good luck with this.
