The biggest advantage for your most frequently used apps is the ability to fire them up with the WinKey + Number shortcut to open the app pinned to that numbered position (starting with 1 and ending with 0, for a total of 10 positions).  You can also use WinKey + Shift + Number to open a second (or third, . . .) instance of the app pinned to that numbered position.

I have never pinned an app to the task bar. I have shortcuts for most of my apps on the desktop. Would there be any advantages to pin my apps to the taskbar?

just curious. How much do you pay per song or album you buy.
I think back to all the 45s, lps, cassettes, cds I've bought over the
years and eventually discarded -- thousands upon thousands of dollars
listened to for a few times and generally later only occasionally touched.
I didn't discover the beauty of services such as Amazon Music Unlimited
until I got a couple of Echo devices 3 or so yrs back.
I've listened to more music in the last couple of years than I did for the
previous 2-3 decades when, most of my listening, was via radio stations
first over the air and then internet.
I just don't see the necessity of owning music any longer given the
convenience of a service for around $100 a yr or so.
And I can call up whatever I want when I want it; use playlists;
structured requests, and so on.
I just wish someone had knocked me in the head telling me of these music
services yrs and yrs ago and getting me to pay attention.

One of these days I'll get out all my Time-Life CDs and store-bought CDs and
rip the music from them.
I refuse to pay again for the media in another format.
When I do buy one in electronic format from somewhere like Amazon, it's
because it came out after the peak of the CD music era.
And when I can get it from Youtube in as good or better quality than
Amazon.com, I'll go with the free option.

Hello,

I am a jaws 2022 user who has never used the web based version of outlook mail and I might have to start using the web based version of outlook mail at a new job that I will be starting shortly.

So I am really, really hoping jaws 2022 works at least fairly well, fairly smooth with the web based version of outlook mail. Can someone please maybe be so kind as to let me know if they find that jaws works yes fairly well, yes works smooth with no headaches with the web based version of outlook mail or if on the other hand they particularly maybe find that jaws does not work too well with the web based version of outlook mail?

Will I maybe need to use the outlook mail shortcut keys most of the time to get jaws to work well with the web based version of outlook mail? Any possible help that maybe I can get on this important matter would be so, so very much appreciated! Much, much thanks in advance for any possible help I can maybe get with this. 😊

Kindest regards,

Hank

The last one I bought was 128 bit, about a year or two back, and I gave it a
poor review for the low quality.
Maybe other people complained if Amazon had started using lower bit rates,
and went back to better bit rates.
But having stated that, I still think you should get a better quality than
you can get from Youtube.

Hi, Glenn. I don't believe this to be true. The vast majority of songs on

I have found that the bit rate you get when buying it from Amazon is no
better than you can get from using a youtube downloader utility.
I would expect at least 220 bit rate, if not 320 bit after paying for a
song.
320 bit is what you get from a CD if you have your rip settings set
correctly.
By default, the rip settings are usually at 128, which is horrible, and once

they are ripped at 128, you cannot just go in and change the bit rate of a
file, you are just making a high quality recording of a poor sounding file.

What fluff?

Chrome and Edge are practically the same. Obviously one is made by microsoft and the other by Google, but all based on chromium code, which is at least mostlys pearheaded by google.

A good reason maybe nto to use chrome is if you are uncomfortable with all the tracking and ad-targetting that google does.

But  you won’t notice any of that while using it.

Anyway, if you want to get chrome, there is a link right there on the main google page to download it.
