Also, I find that if I want to get all of my pages closed and shut down the
browser, Control Shift W does the trick. This works in both Chrome and Edge.

Thanks so much; I back spaced and did not find the attachment. However, I found a button that said expand header. When I clicked on that, the attachments were all of a sudden there. So, I’m not sure how that happened, but I think the issue is fixed. I have certainly had the same problem when attachments are embedded in the body of the email.

Sometimes they are embedded in the email and not where you can Shift tab to them.   Can you Shift Tab to them?  If you are in the body of the message, Shift Tab once should take you to the field where they are.  Also, try going to File, save attachments.  If nothing else, it’s a test to see if they are really there.    And, if you are hearing the attachment indication while in the inbox, but you don’t see them in the message, it could be that the attachment is some embedded graphic, such as when someone uses and image for their signature file.

HI Ware, can you tell me what version so Siebel you are using.

One thing to be aware of is that there are times in the grids that you’ll need to press an F2 to trigger more events within the grid or tables.

There are lots of tips but I’d need to know more about the Application you are u sing and as I asked what version of Seibel you are using.

Hi, Tom. When this happens, check with the JAWS Title BAR (JAWS Key plus T), to see if your last search was even accepted. Something tells me it wasn't really submitted, and thus you are getting a "main region end" message. Even if you could turn off this announcement, it would only suppress the reading of this announcement, it wouldn't actually remove the rendering of the regions themselves.

The problem is that on Youtube, it won't give me a next or number to
move to. It literally stops on that Main Region End and won't go
anywhere else. I hit Enter or Space but nothing happens.

My guess, as this happens to me, is that tabbing not only moves you through elements on a webpage, but also moves to the address bar, the section on the toolbar where all your open tabs are listed, and at least one other browser navigation thing, depending on your browser and settings.   Drives me crazy and I’d love to know if there is a way to stop it, but I havent’ found it in any modern browser.  I tend to use tab, since I don’t always know if what I’m looking for is a button or link, but tab goes right on past the last element on a webpage and lands  on those browser navigation buttons.

Is there a tutorial on how to use tabs with JAWS. I am having a problem and I am not sure what I am doing to cause the problem. I can be in one tab and navigating through the web page and suddenly I am in a different tab.Or back in the address bar and can't get out of it.

This is assuming you are running Windows 10:
- Open Settings.
- Click on Devices.
- Click on AutoPlay and turn on the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices toggle switch.
- Under the "Choose AutoPlay defaults" section, the Removable drive drop-down menu and select a new default action when connecting a USB drive:, use the up/down arrow key and choose open folder to view files (File Explorer).

From now on when you insert a USB drive, it should open up the drive in file explorer.

I set up an AOL account, but haven't gotten my outlook express to get the messages, but the messages are on the web mail.

As you no we have been having trouble with google.
My gmail stopped working last week.
For a day, then started up again.
Then it stopped and it hasn't started.
 
One of the people on this list Curtis is a very kind and patient person, he help me get jaws2021 for forty minutes mode.
Then he for over a hour went in to my google account that I use for recovery to try to fix my main gmail account, what happened when I set it up my home number was put in for sending me the code for 2step verification my flip phone even if it google is set up for my cell won't read it just the digits, it says it in words and numbers, he tried to fix the box where google would send me a callback by voice and give me the code with no success, and google told us on the phone they have no phone support for the people and for the blind, so he suggested I use outlooks e-mail and when he is free he will help me set it up.
So for all those people on this list would like to thank him and anybody  who is going out of there way to help curtis is a good and kind NFB person and so are others, if anybody has advice how to fix this would grately appreciate it thanks from Joseph, and all the best.

I'm very late to this thread, but this is how I get my Windows 11 system to open a flashdrive / thumbdrive when I plug it in.
1. Open the Control Panel by pressing enter on the Control Panel icon on your desktop if you have an icon there.
If you don't have the icon press, Windows key + R, to open the Run dialog and type,
control, and press enter
 
AutoPlay is the first item when you open the control panel, but if you open the control panel and you land on the Search field this is how you set the control panel so you can use first letter navigation.
From the, Search field, tab one time to, Category button, and press the spacebar to open.  Now down arrow to either Large or Small icon, and press enter.
Note: having either the Large or Small icon selected is necessary to enable first letter navigation in the control panel.
 
2. Press enter on the, AutoPlay link, an there's a checkbox for, Use AutoPlay for all media and devices, check this checkbox.
 
3. Tab one time to, Removeable Drives combobox, and use your, Alt + down arrow, keystroke to open this combobox.  Down arrow to, Open folder to view files File Explorer, and press, Alt + up Arrow , to close the combobox.
 
4. Now tab many times to the, Save button, and press enter to save your changes and close AutoPlay.  Now, Alt + F4, to close the control panel.
