When you are in the group list, press F12 to save it. For the file type, choose Rich Text.

Hello, everyone.

I have an outlook e-mail contact group list that I want to send to someone.

I can get to the group list by pressing shift control B, entering the group name, and then tabbing over once to the list of group members.

However, I’m unable to copy and paste the group list in the usual way—i.e. control A followed by Control C, and Control V.

I have to believe there’s a way to copy this list, and send it to someone, but I don’t know how to accomplish this.

Can anyone help?

I’m using the latest version of Jaws 2022, on a Windows 10 PC with Outlook and Office 365.

Hi, Jerry. I believe this to be a problem with saved login and password information with Microsoft Edge. Try clearing all the saved login and password information from Microsoft Edge, and see if this solves the problem. I will also write to you privately with my phone number. Well I did called microsoft disability support  the lady who answer my call ,she did give me step by steps instruction  so I will have to work on it with jaws keystroke

How to upload a video on YouTube

1.            Open Microsoft edge and type youtube.com

2.            Keep pressing tab until create button is selected

3.            Press enter twice to select upload a video

4.            Keep pressing tab again until select file button is selected

5.            This will open the File Explorer and you need to go to the video where you save the video so press shift tab 3 times then arrow down to videos folder , press enter and navigate to the list of video by pressing arrow down and once the video is selected press enter

6.            Wait for 30-45 minutes to upload the video depending on how long is your video

7.            Once done keep pressing tab until “yes it’s made for kids” then arrow down to select NO it is not made for kids and make sure it is check

8.            Keep pressing tab again until copy video link button is selected then press enter

9.            Keep pressing tab again until the next button is selected then press enter

10.          Enter again to select next button

11.          Enter again to select next button

12.          Keep pressing tab until public is selected

13.          Keep pressing tab until save button is selected then enter

Hi, Karen. Usually, you told me, that it happens in Outlook. So, if you are in the Inbox, and you have 128 messages, when you virtualize the control, you will see a list of the messages currently visible on the screen. This last phrase is important, because you can't interact with the screen in this mode. So, if you look at the total screen that is visible, you will see all your messages on that screen, but you won't be able to open, delete, move them or anything else. It is just a reading mode. They used to call these reading modes screen review modes. The reason Virtual Control Mode doesn't work on webpages is that they had to put the browsers in a continuous virtual mode because of the way they are made now. So if you put outlook into Virtual Control mode, all you will be able to do is to read what is on the screen. In order to exit this mode, you must press ESCAPE. the benefit of this mode is that you can see the size, date, time, etc. of messages, and read through the information. Outside of virtual mode, you can hear the information, but you can't arrow through it, read it, copy it, etc.

Hi, Karen. If you find a link, and use that shortcut, you are probably on a webpage. If you are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, it is probably going to tell you that the current location is already in a virtual view. To get the actual URL from a link, you usually focus on the link, press the Applications key, arrow down to copy, then read the URL by using WINDOWS Key plus JAWS Key plus X to read what is in the clipboard. This is a good way to find out if a link is trying to take you to a scam website where you don't want to go.

Hi, Karen. If there is a button or other control that you can press by focusing on it, and pressing Space or Enter, pressing INSERT plus SHIFT plus V puts that control in a virtual view. A virtual view is one in which you can look at the control without actually causing it to do what it does when you press Enter or Space on it. It is a way of looking at the controls on the screen without actually clicking on it, the way a sighted person would do by looking at it.

Normally I press insert plus shift plus the letter b. sometimes I mess up and hit v. What is the window that pops up that is “virtualizing current control”? If I do the same thing in an Outlook message it says “No text in current window”, even when there is text there. What is this shortcut key function?

Hi, all, I know this has been brought up before, where in google chrome you get it saying for some websites that this site can access your location. I’ve ignored it, but now it’s finally getting to me. I know to go to alt D to bring it up, but I’m not quite sure what to do from there. Can someone post this again please.
