Re: questions about setting up an Outlook account manually
Madison Martin
Hi all,
I forgot to ask, my Outlook.com account got locked again on Saturday and I haven't unlocked it because I couldn't send messages from it anyway so I figured there wasn't much point. Anyway, I re-set my password today, would doing this unlock my account? I know I got a message on Saturday telling me to sign into my Outlook.com account, but since I can't access my account using Outlook right now and I find the webmail version hard to use if re-setting my password didn't unlock my account does anyone know of another quick and easy way to unlock my account? I ask as I got to wondering if my account being locked is the reason for the error message that I asked about earlier. Hope someone can help me!!

How do you work with ocr in Adobe?

Adobe Acrobat Pro actually has its own oCR component and it probably does a better job than jAWS does (it is certainly better at dealing with larger files). Does the dialogue you see at work actually mention JAWS? Now I’m curious. My Adobe Pro at home is broken so I can’t really check – in any case now I have Abbyy Finereader which does the job quite nicely.

Hi All,
At work, I have Jaws 2020 with Windows 10, I believe. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro. When I open PDF documents from the data bases we use, sometimes, I’m told that the document is empty. I am then asked if I want Jaws to use OCR for recognition. I of course say yes, and things work beautifully.
How can I get this to work at home? I have Jaws 2020 and Windows 10 but I don’t have Adobe Acrobat. Will I need this to use Jaw’s OCR capabilities? Thanks.

Okay, so if I'm able to get it setup then I won't have to do anything within Outlook in order for it to work in Outlook? Also after re-setting my password I just tried again and I was able to get to the screen where it tries to send a test message but I got a message saying that an unknown error occured and the error code was 0xc8101 Any idea what could be wrong and what I might be able to do to fix it?

Hi, Andy. If you make sure the shortcuts on your desktop, and in the Start Menu are set to maximize Outlook when it opens, you won't need to press Windows Key plus Up Arrow.

Chris, Here is my formula. =IF(B3=C3,B3+1,"0") It is for figuring a player's score in a card game, but it returns a 1 in the cell when there should be nothing, because the two cells being compared have nothing in them. I want the formula cell to also show blank until something is added to the cells to the left.

Re: Jaws2021 ctrl + m and f9 download email
Steve Nutt
Hi,
F9 probably is working, but it may be downloading so quickly that JAWS doesn’t have time to display a percentage.
When you first open Outlook, that is its first connection to your Email server, so it does a thorough check of all your mailboxes.

Hi, Glenn. Just to be completely exhaustive, you might want to actually reboot the computer, and bring up Thunderbird again after reboot to see if it still exhibits the same behavior with regard to the zero before the emails.
