Adobe Acrobat Pro actually has its own oCR component and it probably does a better job than jAWS does (it is certainly better at dealing with larger files). Does the dialogue you see at work actually mention JAWS? Now I’m curious. My Adobe Pro at home is broken so I can’t really check – in any case now I have Abbyy Finereader which does the job quite nicely.

That is not a problem. You can have multiple if statements within a single formula. If you want to send me a copy of your formula, I will show you.

Good luck with the QuickBooks stand-alone application for Windows. This requires a good deal of JAWS scripting to work. And every time Intuit comes out with the next version, the scripts have to be rewritten, tested, and distributed. Go figure<sigh>.

I use a windows 7 laptop with the version before the latest update of jaws.

I use a USB keyboard connected to the laptop.

Anyway, the last few days many of my folders in outlook 2013 are hidden.

I used control Y and found they are still there but do not pop up as usual when I open outlook.

The Microsoft disability answer desk person says it is because they are being hidden by some browser messages which I do not hear or find anywhere.

How do I remove these messages so I do not have to do a control Y every time I want to open a folder such as deleted items, drafts, junkmail, and so forth.

Confused in South Dakota.

I have a brand new laptop which I will begin using in a few days.

But I am keeping this one as I have downloaded at least 14 unread books in my audible account that I want to keep.

Any bright ideas.

So  Can you explained to me whenever I open the microsoft office outlook2007  email  then I always press ctrl + m then  jaws say cancel  then say the download percentage  like  0% 10% 55% and 100% then it take me on the unread email  and that also when I press f9 key too.

So if you want download  all the email in your inbox folder  ,What you do to do that? Do you press f9 key or what?I stilled can’t get f9  work and ctrl + m won’t works either !!

No, CTRL M is to refresh your mailboxes, so this is the correct key. It both sends and delivers.

I remember when I was using pop3 for my email, when I hit CTRL+M to send and receive email, I’d get the percentage. I now use Exchange for my email, and CTRL+M doesn’t do anything, because the email is constantly updated. I don’t know what imap does.

I have jaws2021  and desktop computer  windows10  and using microsoft office outlook 2007 email !! When I press ctrl + m  anddddd/or  f9 key  to download email  in inbox folder  jaws is not saying the percentage of download  like it will say 5% 15% 43% and 100% !! It stop working since Friday,Saturday ,Sunday and today (Monday) !! It have been working  tursday,Wednesday,Tuesday,Monday and Sunday  last week when I call microsoft disability support  on Friday morning when one of their support  did something in email on Thursday night that when I noticed when I came on computer Friday morning to opens the email try to press ctrl -+ m and f9 key to download the email  jaws not saying the percentage of download at all!! But it working on my laptop  computer .

Does anyone  have an idea howI can fix this ?
