Dan:

VLC media player, will play virtually any video and audio file.

You can get it from:

When the page has loaded, search for VLC. Check the check box, then press the letter b. you will land on the "Get Your Ninite Alt+Shift+g button". Press ENTER, to start the download.

Programs/Applications you can download from ninite.com, come with No toolbars. No clicking next. Just pick your apps and go. All the installation programs are executable files. After you press ENTER on the installation file, the program/application is installed automatically. A Close Button is announced by JAWS, when the installation has been completed.

Leasey is a set of scripts written by Hartgen.org which increase the
functionality of Jaws. You have to pay, but for me it seems to be
worth doing so. There is a lot in there, so I would just look at the
website.

No real advantages I have seen to 11 over 10. They are still ironing out a few weird behaviors in windows 11 regardless the screen reader. They will get there.

I don’t see a benefit of the update yet. But it is also not a dealbreaker. NVDA JAWS and SuperNova all work just fine.

The, Tool Tip setting for Jaws is in your Settings Center or in the Settings Center default all applications Speech Verboscity folder.  To get there try the following.
1. A. If you want to change this setting only for a particular application open the Settings Center by invoking the, Insert + 6, on the number row keystroke.
B. If you want to change this setting for all application open the Settings Center by invoking the, Insert + 6, on the number row keystroke, then press, control,
shift + D, to open Settings Center default all applications.

2. Down arrow to, Speech Verboscity closed and right arrow to open.

3. Down arrow 1 time and you'll hear, Verboscity level ... , the ... will be your verboscity level.  It's probably on Beginner highest.  This is important to know for the next step so you know what level to work with.

4. Down arrow 1 time to, Configure Verboscity Level closed, and right arrow to open.

5. Down arrow to the level you're running and press the spacebar.  Note:  Do Not press enter, press the spacebar!  If you press enter you'll get kicked out of the Settings Center because Jaws will think you're done in here and close.

6. After pressing the spacebar you'll be in a list of items that can be checked or unchecked to turn on or off.  The, Tool tip, item is at the bottom.

7. After or if you make any changes tab to, Okay, press the spacebar, tab to, Apply, press the spacebar and tab to, Okay and press the spacebar or enter to save your changes and close.

something like FS Reader 3.0, after a pause, it might give the location.
I was wondering where that setting was. I also don't know what it's

but I'm slowly but surely making my way over to jaws.

Hi,

Are you using JAWS 2022 with your windows 11?

Did you hear a connect sound when you connected the Focus to the computer?

Have you searched the Device Manager to see if it shows up there?

Are you using the provided cable with your Focus? The tip that goes into the Focus 4 Generation is a micro usb tip.

Hello:

If you are running Windows 10, you really need to update your JAWS software.

As to your specific issue, if you are using a laptop with a touch pad in front of the keyboard, it is oftentimes helpful to turn off the touchpad to avoid accidentally touching it and yanking your focus away from what you are working on.

Open the start menu and search for "touch". Open Touchpad settings and turn off the touchpad by checking the appropriate box.

focus on the screen back to the taskbar -

I have tried hiding the taskbar in desktop mode via the taskbar

Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue or is this just a issue

Hi Rahul!
Same situation here. Any help for both of us would be appreciated. As for me, I suppose it depends on the fact that i use the german version of jaws. Are you also using a non-english jaws? If that is the case, I suppose it is a matter of localization (often shortcuts and keystrokes change depending on the language of an application)
Thanks in advance, Helmuth

JAWS does not typically treat them the way it treats
comments/revisions made in a word document.

The main difficulty I face in accessing comments is that the
keystrokes that are supposed to help you get into a comment's text
don't work for me. So even if I know that there is a comment on the

And as for revisions, I do not know how one can jump from one revision
