If it didn't work use the jaws menu with, jaws key plus J then utilities submenu, open it, find " explore "utilities folder" and open it. There you'd find "explore my settings" folder. TC

Open Control Panel Go to Sound and press enter Pres Control + Tab twice to go from the Playback tab to the Recording tab and finally the Sounds tab, you can also press Shift + Tab until you hear "Playback tab" and then arrow right twice to Sounds Tab until you hear "Play Windows Startup Sound" and make sure the checkbox is checked, then tab to OK and activate it.

adding scripts in Jaws v2022

I am trying to include GoldeWave scripts in Jaws V2022 using Windows 10. I already unzipped the file and copied everything to be included in Jaws. When I go to all programs and I try to open jaws2022 it says collapsed but when I enter to expand the arrow keys right/left or up/down does not open the program. I recall in Windows 7 this is how you interacted with a program. What am I doing wrong and how do I perform this task?

I hate to ask this, but could you send me any instructions for checking fast start-up? Up until now, I've avoided this because it seemed like having fast startup enabled created more issues than it solved. But, perhaps I'm wrong, and need to re-think this. I can get away without the Windows start-up sound, but it is nice to have so you get a quick indication of the status of your computer when re-booting. Thanks! Tom Behler

cursor seems to be at the bottom of the list for some reason.

instead of using Windows+v, try JAWS+spacebar, and the letter c which "Opens the Clipboard Text Viewer and displays all text copied and appended to the Clipboard. You can then select and copy text from the viewer and paste it in other applications."
