Re: how to change advanced power settings in windows
Chris
Try this way then.
Open settings (windows + I) Go to network Then on wi-fi tab to the change adapter settings button Again a explorer window will open Then right click on the WIFI or ethernet connection as required Select properties You should open in the properties general tab Then shift tab to the configure button and hit enter Again shift tab to the tabs and arrow to the last tab for power management There the option to allow windows to turn off this device should be unchecked Finally apply and ok out of the open dialogs and close the open window
I dont know if Thats a better explanation or not but I tried Good luck!

Again, speculating about what Apple will and will not do is not productive.
When Apple announces they are no longer making iTunes for Windows, then we will deal with it at that time.

iTunes on the Mac has been gone for one or two years now. The iDevicce interacts with Finder and shows up like a external drive. You can completely manage apps on the device without the need for iTunes and if you use either One Drive or DropBox you can access music files and pull them into the Music app. I have no idea if Apple plans on pulling iTunes all together, but I can’t imagine that they are going to continue to pour money into an application that solely runs on Windows. What tasks do you directly need iTunes for today? Regards,

iTunes on the Mac is no more. There is now a Music app, TV app and Podcast app. They work with or without a iPhone or iPad and you certainly don’t need to use any of those apps and can still manage your iPhone.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
The only time I plug my iPhone into my Mac is if I need to DFU the phone and the average user would most likely take it to an Apple store if the phone was really so bad off that you needed to perform a DFU.

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet.
Apple changed iTunes on the Mac into I think three different apps or some such thing, but I paid little attention as I do not have a Mac.
That led to all kinds of rumors about Apple getting rid of iTunes. Nothing close to that has come from Apple.

Also it seems that NVDA navigates more smoothly in iTunes if compared with JAWS. I tried backing up my iPhone using JAWS on iTunes and it is not as smooth tabbing around the menu compared to if using NVDA.

The built in camera somehow was shooting sideways as in I was sitting on the couch but, it made it look like everything was on its side. Sighted assistance fixed that problem. Apparently it gave the sighted participants a good laugh.

Hi, David. Are you saying that in Zoom, your screen was sideways, or are you saying that the picture from your camera was sideways? If you are saying that the screen was sideways, you can click landscape or portrait if you are signed in with a free Zoom account. When you start Zoom, TAB three times, and it will say your name. Then,as you arrow up, it will say the following,

Of course, if you are already in portrait view, it will say Switch to Landscape View

Hi, Barbara. Before attempting to press ALT plus CONTROL plus Up Arrow, try pressing the "passthrough" command in JAWS, which is JAWS key plus three on the numbers row, not the NumPad. Then after pressing the passthrough command, then try ALT plus CONTROL plus Up Arrow, and see if your screen rotates right-side up.

Hi- Periodically I mistakenly hit some combination of keystrokes that turns my screen sideways (landscape). When I searched for keystroke to change it to portrait, what I got was alt-ctrl-arrow – but the problem is that is a JAWS command for tables and when I do it, JAWS keeps telling me that I am not in a table (which I obviously know.
Any suggestions? Having a sideways screen is a problem when I am on a Zoom and also when I ask someone to help me with something on my computer.

I was given to understand that a lot of the 'minimum specs' this time were in place because microsoft has strangely decided it cares about your security. I don't think it's because they're required for functionality, but more because microsoft thinks it owns your computer.
